Who We Are
Cielito Lindo Spanish Immersion Preschool is a multilingual preschool/daycare designed to meet the needs of children ages 3 months to 8 years old. It is a a Spanish immersion program where children learn while learning Spanish and Mandarin as part of our enrichment activities. It is our goal to provide children with the love, safety, and attention that they need to achieve their dreams. We strive to provide a multicultural education as the foundation for building extraordinary children and future society members.
At Cielito Lindo, our goal is to work with parents and teachers to provide the love and support needed as your child reaches each developmental milestone.

Our vision at Cielito Lindo Spanish Immersion Preschool is to be one of the established bilingual preschools in Austin, Texas. By fostering a positive and inclusive community, we aim to equip our students with the tools and confidence they need to succeed in their future endeavors and make a positive impact in the world.
Philosophy
At Cielito Lindo, we believe that a quality early childhood education is the key to developing future lifelong learners. We believe that exposure to second language education in a multicultural environment at an early age will help children develop the tools necessary to succeed in today’s diverse society.
Creative Curriculum
At Cielito Lindo we have incorporated the Creative Curriculum as part of our lessons.
The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, Infants, Toddler, is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.
Creative Curriculum Targeted Areas
Social
Development of social–emotional skills, such as resolving conflict, sharing responsibilities, and working collaboratively in a safe space.
Emotional
Communication and establishing positive relationships with others, responding to emotional cues, and participating cooperatively.
Cognitive
Solving problems and finding answers to their questions in a creative way, encouraging higher-level thinking in multiple languages.
Physical
Improving fine- and gross-motor manipulative skills, demonstrating balance, strength and coordination through various play activities.
Approach
Our learning through play approach incorporates a variety of activities where children experience real life situations. Students abilities are developed through the use of art, music, drama, and hands on activities that promote each child’s individual development. We have also incorporated Montessori inspired activities that encourage self-directed learning through the following areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Culture, Language, and Mathematics.
